Developed as part of a participatory research project The Moving with Nature Cards invite 15 pathways into creative movement & artful exploration with the rich and diverse ecologies of life we are part of. Rooted in perspectives from Queer Ecology, the deck invites participants to explore the fluidity, diversity, and interconnectedness present within ourselves, our communities and wider living world.

Designed for personal use, or for nature-based facilitation spaces, the cards offer embodied connection with landscapes through movement, sensory awareness, and imagination. The deck offers an accessible and inclusive framework for exploring ecological awareness, creative expression and empathy with the more-than-human world.

How to use these cards

 

Follow the pathways from ‘Arriving’ with Nature, all the way to ‘Becoming’ with Nature, or just pick any card and begin there. You may wish to bring a journal with you to sketch, or write about your experiences. I hope these cards bring you quiet moments of joy, inspire playful curiosity and offer new ways to explore your relationship with nature.
