"Jess introduced me to the world of nature-connection. I found myself attending a series of sessions, each one individual in its delivery and powerfully enabling me to experience the pure joy of mindfulness and creativity, whilst immersed in nature. The memories linger long after the events and are ones that continue to stay with me.

Slowing down, working with nature, deepening into connection. Jess held space with incredible grace, wisdom and a love for the natural world that made being in her presence pure magic."

"I have worked with Jess at The Fathom Trust for two years designing and running community-based courses for people who find themselves socially isolated, often as a result of illness or adversity.  Jess brings to her work an artist’s appreciation for beauty, a gardener’s reverence for life and a therapist’s care for the soul.  She has nurtured these gifts diligently to create a gentle, imaginative, and highly effective practice. Those fortunate enough to have worked alongside Jess will recognise the moments of life-giving transformation made possible by the quality of attention that Jess brings to each session."

"Jess and I co-created 'Embodied Ecology Arts' in 2015, running workshops and retreats in nature at the birth of a field holding precious visions and dreams for humanity. Those times collaborating together were plentiful, inspiring and enriching. Jess is a serious, yet down to earth practitioner, full of presence, compassion and seeing. .As a teacher and facilitator, she is a rare gem, gently guiding you to be with the land in ways that spring from her own caring kinship with the earth."

“Jess is an excellent facilitator, teacher, project lead and champion for ecotherapy and its benefits on our wellbeing. She was instrumental in the development and creation of Green Minds, an ecotherapy service with Brecon Mind. Her conscientious and hard working nature formed key partnerships in the community and it was a pleasure to support her vision of providing opportunities for and enabling people to connect with nature and improve their wellbeing. I was struck by her calmness and inclusivity towards all in the group. Jess has a very natural way of helping people connect with their surroundings and others and her work at Green Minds has left a strong foundation for ecotherapy in the community for the benefit of all.”

"It was a special experience for me, coming together with a group of like-minded women from different circumstances and different stages in their lives. Sharing together in a safe, non-judgmental environment gave me the permission to take some time to sit and feel, which is not always easy. I found that I had strength within to tap into my own inner resources that I soon discovered are always available to me."

My experience of working with Jess was when I coordinated a Social Prescribing service for Brecon and District Mind linked with three local GP practices in South Powys. Jess was an absolute joy to work with; a great communicator, open, welcoming, committed, conscientious and above all caring, compassionate and kind. She wanted nothing but the best for her participants, making sure that everyone felt valued and understood. Jess was hugely efficient and organised and we could always rely on her and the excellent service she offered. As a result ecotherapy was part of the backbone of the Social Prescribing service and this was reflected in the wonderfully positive outcomes from the referrals made. She is a true gem.
