An eco-embodied arts residency held at Bronhafod, a small-scale regenerative land project supporting artistic research in Bannau Brycheiniog.

Land Solo was a place of deep listening, reflection, and intimate encounter with the surrounding ecologies of Bronhafod. It explored emergent work on themes of empathy, attunement, and co-becoming. Stepping outside linear timeframes created space for resonance with the rhythms of clay, stone, plant, and planet.

Through spontaneous and experimental land-based rituals and performances, working with foraged and found objects, the residency considered the body as a vessel, sometimes full, at other times empty - like water gathering and receding within a crater in the landscape.

The residency asked how improvised, eco-embodied practices might cultivate deeper listening, create space for personal and ecological tending, and deepen empathy with and for the living world.
