JESS TANNER

Hello & Welcome

My name is Jess, I'm an artist, ecotherapist & creative health practitioner living in the Black Mountains, Wales.

About my practice....

My multidisciplinary practice brings together participatory and ecological approaches to explore relationships between landscape, identity, and belonging. Working across outdoor movement, site-sensitive performance, and moving image, I'm interested in how embodied arts practices can nurture deeper connections with ourselves, one another, and the wider living world. As a queer and rural artist, I'm interested in how we can create more inclusive spaces that centre often unheard human and non-human voices, where diverse stories, shared imagination and collective wellbeing can emerge.

Who I work with....

I work with individuals and groups through one-to-one ecotherapy sessions, creative health practice, and nature-based facilitation. I have designed and delivered workshops for NHS healthcare staff, mental health organisations, LGBTQ+ groups, and within a variety of community arts and health settings.
