JESS TANNER

Hello & Welcome
My name is Jess, I'm an artist, ecotherapist & creative health practitioner living in the Black Mountains, Wales.
A bit about me.....
My multidisciplinary approach brings together participatory and ecological practices with artistic research, to explore the relationships between landscape, identity, and belonging. Working across outdoor movement, site-sensitive performance, and moving image, I explore how embodied-arts practices can deepen relationships with place, and support the flourishing of both human and more-than-human communities.
Through my work with people and landscapes, I am interested in how we can build more inclusive spaces that centre marginalised and underrepresented experiences, where people can share their stories and create health and wellbeing together. I’m particularly drawn to how diverse and embodied 'ways of knowing' can enrich our understanding of ourselves, each other, and the wider living world.

Who I work with....
I work with individuals and groups through one-to-one ecotherapy sessions, creative health practice, and nature-based facilitation. I have designed and delivered workshops for NHS healthcare staff, mental health organisations, LGBTQ+ groups, and within a variety of community arts and health settings.
Let's connect....
Thank you for arriving here. If you're interested in any of the things I offer, or exploring a creative collaboration, you are welcome to get in touch here.
