JESS TANNER

Hello & Welcome
My name is Jess, I'm an artist, ecotherapist & creative health practitioner living in the Black Mountains, Wales.
A bit about me.....
My transdisciplinary approach brings together participatory practice, ecological thinking, and artistic research to explore the intersections of landscape, identity, and belonging. Working across outdoor movement, site-sensitive performance, and moving image, I explore how embodied, artistic practices can deepen relationships with place, and support the flourishing of both human and more-than-human wellbeing.
Drawing on my experience as a queer person living and working in rural communities, I am interested in how we build more inclusive spaces, and make room for marginalised voices and experiences. I'm particularly drawn to how diverse and embodied 'ways of knowing' can enrich our understanding of ourselves, each other and the wider living world.

Who I work with....
I work with both individuals and groups, where my arts and therapeutic practice spans one-one ecotherapy sessions, creative mentoring, and through my work as a nature, arts & health facilitator. I have designed and facilitated workshops for NHS healthcare staff, mental health organisations, LGBTQ+ groups, and within a variety of community arts & health contexts.
Let's connect....
Thank you for arriving here. If you're interested in any of the things I offer, or exploring a creative collaboration, you are welcome to get in touch here.
