Hello & Welcome

My name is Jess, I'm an artist, ecotherapist & creative health practitioner living in the Black Mountains, Wales.

A bit about me.....

My multidisciplinary approach brings together participatory works, ecological practices, and artistic research to explore the relationships between landscape, identity, and belonging. Working across outdoor movement, site-sensitive performance, and moving image, I explore how embodied, artistic practices can deepen relationships with place, and support the flourishing of both human and more-than-human wellbeing.

Drawing on my experience as a queer person living and working in rural communities, I am interested in how we build more inclusive spaces, and uplift voices that are often marginalised in rural areas. I'm particularly drawn to how diverse and embodied 'ways of knowing' can enrich our understanding of ourselves, each other and the wider living world.

I work with individuals and groups through one-to-one ecotherapy sessions, creative health practice, and nature-based facilitation. I have designed and delivered workshops for NHS healthcare staff, mental health organisations, LGBTQ+ groups, and within a variety of community arts and health settings.
